How the song generator works

STEP 01

Say what it is about

One or two sentences is enough — a person, a night, a joke only two people get. Or paste lyrics you have already written. The AI writes in your language, not in translation.

STEP 02

Choose how it should sound

A style in your own words, a voice (female, male, duet, or instrumental with no vocal at all) and a tempo. Leave all three alone and Lyrumi decides.

STEP 03

Then it makes the record

Reading your words, setting key and tempo, writing the melody, recording the vocal, mixing the take. Keep it to yourself, download it as an MP3, or publish it and it appears on this page.

What people make with it

Lyrumi is a song studio, not a backing-track generator. Every song below has words somebody wrote or asked for, a vocal that performs them, an arrangement built around them and a cover painted for them. 101 of them are public on this page, in 9 languages, because the people who made them chose to publish.

They are used for the things songs are used for: a birthday, an apology, a chorus that has been stuck in somebody’s head since the bus, a lullaby in a language a child is only just learning. None of it was commissioned and none of it was chosen by an editor — the boards are counted, and the stations are rules.

You need an Android phone and one sentence. The first song is free.

Questions people ask

Help centre →
What is Lyrumi?
An AI song generator for Android. You describe a song in a sentence, or paste your own lyrics, and Lyrumi writes the words, composes and performs the music, and paints the cover. Every song on this page was made in it.
How do I make a song with AI?
Say what the song is about in one or two sentences, or paste lyrics you already have. Add a style in your own words, a voice and a tempo if you want to — or leave all three and Lyrumi chooses.
Is the AI song generator free?
A new account gets 12 credits, which covers your first song and a couple of AI-written lyrics. One song version costs 10 credits, AI lyrics cost 1, and a render that fails is refunded in full.
Can I write songs in my own language?
Yes. The app runs in 9 languages, the AI writes lyrics in yours, and the model sings in the language of the words you give it.
Can I download the song?
Yes, as an MP3 at 192 kbps. Songs stay private until you publish them, and unpublishing takes one out of Explore and off this site straight away.
Who owns what I make?
You do. Publishing puts the song on this site under your stage name — never the name you signed in with — and you can take it down at any time.
How is the chart decided?
By listening, recounted every five minutes. There is no editor and no featured slot: the boards rank on plays, finishes and unique listeners over the last 48 hours, the week, or all time. A song published an hour ago can lead them.
